What A Man, Linda Lyndell

I still find it hard to believe this is a white woman singing! It’s also devastating that the most recognized version of this song is a tacky pop sample of it. I love this song in its originality, here’s my attempt to memorialize it.

La Vie en Rose (Edith Piaf cover), Pomplamoose

A very cute rendition of the Piaf classic. Oh, and if you enjoy music at all you must see La Môme! Makes me weep every time without fail.

I Will Always Love You, Dolly Parton

I always liked Ms Parton’s version better.

Brother, Matt Corby

I can’t believe that he’s only twenty-one years old. Nor that he was on Australian Idol and could pull through to become this. So, so good. And what a babe!

The Scientist (cover), Rupert Blackman

I was having literally the worst few days of my life so far when I turned a corner to find this in the main square of town. Quite perfectly refreshing. I wish the video was longer, but at least you can get a taste of his work.
