This Time, Carus & The True Believers

Probably my favourite Carus Thompson song. It’s just really pretty. And sad. And selfless. Or something like that.

The Magic Position, Patrick Wolf

I can’t stop listening!

I Can See Clearly Now, Johnny Nash

Ah, that bass. When I was younger, I used to hear this on the radio and think it rather monotonous. It was only earlier in the year - when it shuffled onto my iPod while I was sitting on a train and I consequently had to stop myself from fist pumping all over the place - that I realised: it’s actually a brilliant song.

This Song is Called Ragged, Jonathan Boulet

Call me biased, but I do think Aussie music is quite simply some of the best.

L’Heure Exquise, performed by Susan Graham

A French melodie by Reynaldo Hahn.

Cologne, Ben Folds

I used to listen to this song when my train stopped in Köln! I love it. Then I found out it was about him shaking his addiction to codeine or something. And I loved it even more. I just love him. The end!

Untitled, Matt Corby

Misschien, heel misschien nog wel mooier dan Brother…

Niet misschien… zeker nog wel mooier!

Give it Up (Cover), The Twoks

Just discovered this gorgeous cover of one of my favourite guilty pleasure songs! It’s by The Twoks, and it’s gorgeous.

If I Fell (Stripped), Adam Levine

Oh me, oh my. I’ve always loved this acoustic version of The Beatles’ song, despite not being a huge Maroon 5 fan. It’s just kinda… relaxing.
