“It's been a while since I last stopped by. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed your writings. I'm glad to have been reminded.”

Thanks! I mainly just write for myself when I want to get something off my chest. I’m glad you enjoy it! I rarely write anymore, however. I’ll have to get back into it.

We all die… The goal isn’t to live forever. The goal is to create something that will.

I keep having dreams that I’m back in Europe, walking along the cobbled footpaths and feeling the rustle of autumn leaves underfoot. Now it’s a desperate desire to return like I’ve not yet felt before.

I don’t like ignoring my intuition, but I’m going to have to.

you’re forgetting that you are also a stranger to people if you want that to happen then you better be doing it yourself…

Haha, I know. I more meant that I wish it wasn’t a social norm to be so silent on public transport. Imagine the fun you would have if people were as social on a tram as they are in bars. I suppose the latter’s sociability would often be accounted to Dutch courage, though. Point taken.

I wish people would talk to strangers more. Like, when I’m on the bus and feeling a bit lonely, I wish someone would ask me how my day is going. I wish they would care. Imagine all the friends one could make if every second was a chance to meet someone.

Stay, Please Stay

Can we please pause for a moment and appreciate the greatness of Oh Mercy? I do love their new album, but can’t go past the old tunes from Great Barrier Reef. And seriously, can Alexander Gow marry me already? I managed to hoodwink the drummer into being Facebook friends with me so I believe this is my first step in taking dem ova.
